In the state of Washington, our Governor has declared a “Stay at home” order for the next 2 weeks. This means, that for the next 2 weeks(at least) we are only to leave our homes to:

- Grocery shop

- See to a medical need

- conduct essential business (list included below)

For childcare workers the order states:

“worker’s supporting public and private childcare establishments, licensed pre-k establishment, k-12 schools, colleges and universities for the purpose of distance learning or the provision of school meals or childcare of essential workers across all sectors and for uniquely vulnerable populations“

This means that childcare for nonessential workers, is not available at this time. Which, is a strain on parents working from home, but we all need to do our part right now to save potentially thousands of lives.
